About 7:15 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, the Alexandria Police Department received a call in reference to a burglary on Bayou Rapides Road.
The complainant reported that she returned home from getting something to eat to find that the front door of her house had been kicked in, according to the report.
The complainant said the suspect went straight to her bedroom closet and took loaded pistols. The woman told officers her brother may have taken the weapons because he knew where they were located in the apartment and that she had seen him standing at the intersection of Coliseum Boulevard and Heyman Lane.
The woman said her brother was a crack addict, according to the report.
